FIXTURES 2007
SENIOR FOOTBALL
The Championship consist of three groups of four or five teams. The top two in each group claims a quarter final slot. The third placed teams slog it out for the remaining two quarter final places. The bottom team in each group fight for relegation.
Our group is Stradbally, Clashmore, Mahon Gaels, St Saviours and Brickey Rangers.
INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL
Championship consists of 7 teams, Ballinameela, Dungarvan, Kilgobnet, Colligan, Sliabh gCua, Geraldines, Stradbally played on a league basis.
Semi-Finals, Team 1 V Team 4, Team 2 V Team 3. Relegation bottom team, in the event of equal no. of points play-offs to decide relegation. In the event of equal points between top teams, scoring difference to decide placing. Play-off to decide all other qualifications.
Lads, lucky ye won the Junior last year and you are now intermediate as with the new rules in Junior, there nearly as many championships as there is teams.
SENIOR HURLING
The championship is run much the same as the football but has three groups of four teams. There is no complication of group teams.
Our group is Stradbally, Tallow, Fourmilewater and Lismore.
UNDER-21A FOOTBALL
Championship to be played on a direct knockout basis involving 6 teams.
Draw is Nire V Ballinacourty, Brickey Rangers V Kilrossanty, Byes to Stradbally and Clashmore/ Semi-Finals, A V C, B V D.
1st Round 24/3/07, 2nd rnd 31/3/07 and Final on 7/8 April 07.
UNDER-21B HURLING
Championship to be played on a direct knockout basis involving 8 teams.
Draw is Stradbally V Grange, Fourmilewater V Comeragh Gaels, St Ovivers V Clashmore, Tallow V Gaeltacht.
Semi-Final, A V B, C V D.
1st Round, 6th June 07
MINOR A FOOTBALL
Championship to be played on a league basis. Top team to Western final, 2nd and 3rd to meet in Semi Final.
1st Round, Fri 13th April, 2nd Round, Wed 18th April, 3rd Rnd, Fri 27th April, 4th rnd, fri 11th May.
Teams in group are Stradbally, Ballinacourty, Nire, Dungarvan and Clashmore.
MINOR B HURLING
Championship to be played on a league basis. Top team to Western final, 2nd and 3rd to meet in Semi Final.
Starting 29th June.
Teams in group are Stradbally, Gaeltacht, St Patricks, Clashmore, Cois Bride.
UNDER-16 FOOTBALL
We are in division two of a county championship which is done on a league basis. The top four qualify for the semi finals.
